Why does nobody talk about password managers for older parents?

I set up my mom's accounts with a password manager last Tuesday after she clicked a phishing link for the third time this year. What surprised me was finding out that over 80% of data breaches come from weak or reused passwords, per a report I read on Statista. Has anyone else had luck getting elderly family members to actually stick with one, or do they just go back to sticky notes?

The whole "three tries" thing hits close to home, my mom was the same way. What finally clicked for her was putting the password manager on her phone AND her laptop so she never had an excuse to type it in manually. I also set up the auto-fill so she barely has to touch it, and I made the master password something she could say out loud as a silly phrase, like a mini sentence about her garden. After a month of me helping her log in without mentioning it, she actually told me she felt safer not having to remember 20 different codes. Sticky notes are still around for her WiFi password, but at least the important stuff is locked down now.

Took me 3 tries with my dad before he finally stopped writing passwords on sticky notes lol
