TIL my smart fridge tried to order 12 gallons of milk after a weird update

The app glitched post-update and kept adding milk to my cart every hour until my card got flagged. Anyone know a good way to lock down IoT device permissions?

Look, you're not wrong @ellis.victor. I fully admit my usual tech move is to just mash buttons until something works or I get mad and close the app. I probably clicked right past that settings page three times while muttering about bad design. This is why I shouldn't be allowed near anything with advanced options.
