Shoutout to my dad for locking me out of my own email account
Last week my dad tried to "help" by setting up two-factor authentication on my old email without telling me, and then he forgot the recovery phone number he used. I spent a whole night shift trying to get back in while covering for a sick coworker. Has anyone else had a family member mess with your accounts like this?

Help" from family always backfires somehow. Just last week my mom tried to be nice and deleted all my old emails to "clean things up" for me. Guess who lost his tax returns from two years ago?

Deleted your tax returns? That's next level, man. I would've lost my mind (and probably my voice from yelling). My mom once "organized" my garage and threw away a box of old receipts I needed for a warranty claim on a chainsaw I bought three years ago. Had to eat the cost of a new one when it died a month later, which really stung. At least with emails you can sometimes fish them out of the trash folder, right? Or did she empty that too?
