Serious question, did you know most people reuse the same 3 passwords?

I was reading a report from the University of Maryland and it said a bot tries to hack a computer there every 39 seconds... that's just one school. It made me check my own password habits and, yeah, I'm totally guilty of using my old standbys everywhere. How do you guys keep track of different ones without going nuts?

Get a password manager, honestly. I started using one last year and it generates crazy strong passwords for every site, then auto-fills them. You only need to remember the one master password for the manager itself. It feels weird at first but now I don't know how I kept anything straight.

Totally agree, I made the switch after reading that study lilychen mentioned. It's a total game changer once you get used to it.
