Password managers felt like overkill until I lost 2 years of logins

Tbh I kept everything in a notes file on my phone, thought lastpass was for paranoid people. Then my phone died during a trip to Austin and I couldn't get into my bank, email, or even my Spotify, took 6 hours at a Geek Squad counter to sort half of it. Now I use a local vault app with autofill, has anyone else made the jump after a close call?
