I used to think those 'scam likely' phone warnings were just my carrier being annoying...
My bank called about a weird charge and my phone flagged it as a scam, so I hung up. Turns out it was actually them, and I had to call back through their official number. The rep told me they've seen a huge rise in spoofed numbers that look real. Has anyone found a good way to tell a real call from a fake one when the number checks out?

My trust issues are now officially a problem.

Been there. Forced myself to give small bits of trust on low-stakes things first. It felt stupid but it built a track record. That proof over time is the only thing that actually helped.

Yeah, it really is a problem when you can feel it holding you back. I had to learn the hard way that you can't just wait for the feeling to go away on its own. It takes doing the exact thing that feels wrong, like Jason said. Building that proof for yourself is slow and it sucks sometimes. But it's the only way forward I've found.
