Can we talk about how a simple password manager finally clicked for me?

I kept reusing the same weak password everywhere until my friend in IT said 'dude, you're one breach away from losing everything'. I set up Bitwarden last month and now I have a unique 16-character password for every single site without having to remember them. Anyone else have a specific tip for making the switch less of a pain?

Honestly, doesn't it feel like putting all your keys in one basket though? I still use a notebook for my most important stuff.

My friend in IT said the same thing to me last year, but I just don't trust a single app with every login I have. What happens if Bitwarden itself has a problem or gets hacked? That one basket holds everything. I still write my bank and email passwords down on paper and keep that somewhere safe. It feels like we're all being scared into this.

That basket got hacked once and stored everything in plain text.
