Brother in law typed his router password while I watched, and now I want to check my own setup
I was at my sister's place in Tucson over the weekend and her husband asked me to help set up their new printer. While we were in the router settings page, he typed the admin password out loud without thinking, and it was just his street name plus 123. I told him that anyone sitting in a car outside with the wifi name could guess that in about a minute. We ended up changing it to a long random phrase and turning off remote admin access. Does anyone else have a trick for getting family members to actually care about this stuff without sounding like a jerk?

Street name plus 123 isn't guessable from the wifi name alone, that part's a stretch.
