Wrote 7 prompts in one night last Tuesday and every single one felt dead by morning
Sat down at my kitchen table in Reno around 8pm with a fresh notebook, cranked out 7 prompts back to back, and by 10am I couldn't stand a single one of them. My best friend Dana read them and just said 'these all sound like the same sad guy in a cabin.' I think I burned myself out forcing quantity over quality, but I honestly don't know where the line is between pushing through and just wasting paper. How do you all know when to step away from a prompt session versus grind it out?
