Vent: That one beta reader who told me my chapters were just plot summary changed everything for me.
They said "you're telling me what happens, not showing me what it feels like" and now I have to rewrite 12 chapters but at least I know what I'm doing now... anyone else have a piece of criticism that just clicked?

100 percent @troy_ross. I had someone tell me my scenes were all "and then this happened" without any weight behind them. It stung for a day but man, that's the thing I needed to hear more than anything
