Spent $45 on a 20 pack of premium gel pens. Biggest writing mistake I ever made.
I thought I was leveling up my journaling game for my novel notes. Two weeks in, every single pen started skipping and leaving blobs on the page. The ink dried uneven and ruined three notebook spreads I actually liked. Now I'm back to my old $2 Bic stick pens that never fail. Has anyone else had a fancy supply let them down when they needed it most?

Those gel pens sound like the same brand that got me last year, did yours have metallic packaging?

Dude, that's rough. I've been burned by fancy supplies too and it just feels like a total waste of money and time. I'm glad your old Bics are still reliable, that's the stuff that matters.
