Prompt debate: should a prompt hand over the whole plot or just drop one weird image?
Last Tuesday I ran the same group through two versions of one prompt, one that spelled out the entire story beat by beat and one that just gave them a stranger holding a wet envelope at a bus stop in the rain, and the open one got way better pages. So which side are you on, does a good prompt need to tell you exactly where to go or just give you a hook and get out of the way?
