Left mine in a bag of rice for like 36 hours and it came back fine. The trick was not turning it on right away, which is where I messed up the first time and killed the thing for good. Also took the case off and pulled the sim tray so the air could actually get in there. Rice alone won't save it if you power it on too soon.
