Took me 4 months to figure out my roommate's sock drying rack thing
Honestly, my roommate left this weird collapsible rack clamped to the bathroom towel bar when he moved out, and I just assumed it was some kind of fancy shelf. I kept putting my shampoo bottles on it and they'd slide off, and I got so annoyed every single morning. Last week I finally googled the brand name printed on the side and it's literally a sock drying rack, like for delicates. Four months, man. I could've been drying my gym socks on it this whole time instead of draping them over the radiator like a caveman. He never said a word about it either, just left it there like a puzzle. Has anyone else inherited random roommate stuff that took you embarrassingly long to understand?

Wait, he never mentioned it at all? That is wild. If I left something weird behind in a bathroom I would at least send a text like hey by the way that thing is for socks. Four months of fighting with your shampoo bottles on a sock rack is a level of quiet suffering I can respect though. My old roommate left a metal thing with clips on it and I used it as a chip bag clip for like a year before someone told me it was a tie hanger. So yeah, you are not alone in this.
