Stopped by my old apartment on Dort Highway in Flint and the new tenants kept my roommate's duct tape chair
I went back to my old place on Dort Highway in Flint last Saturday to grab a box I left in the basement, and the new tenants let me look around. The chair my old roommate built out of two milk crates and about 40 feet of duct tape is still sitting in the corner of the living room. He made that thing junior year because he broke our real couch jumping off it, and it held his weight for almost 2 years. The new guy told me he uses it every day and swears it's sturdier than anything from a store. I couldn't stop laughing because that chair was the dumbest thing I ever saw and somehow it outlived four of our leases. Did anyone else leave behind a roommate project that refused to die?
