My roommate put a padlock on the fridge and I think the internet is wrong about this one
Our place in Tempe has 4 guys and one shared fridge, and last month my roommate Dan put a bike lock through the handles because someone kept eating his $6 rotisserie chicken. Everyone online says food thieves are the worst and locking up food is petty, but honestly Dan was right. I did the math on our grocery runs and we were tossing about $40 a week of stuff that went bad because nobody could find their own shelf. His lock forced us to finally label our own bins, and we have not had a single food fight since. Has anyone else had a fridge situation that got this far, or is a lock too much?
