Can we talk about my roommate microwaving fish at 2am on a Tuesday

My roommate Dan microwaved a full salmon fillet in our shared kitchen in Akron at 2am last Tuesday, and the whole apartment still smells like a bait shop. I asked him to open a window and he just stared at me and went back to bed with the plate. Does anyone have a real fix for the smell, or do I just buy a new couch?
