Thought those load charts on the Liebherr app were garbage, ate my words on a 180 ton pick
Told the younger guys for weeks that punching numbers into a phone would never beat the paper chart in the cab, then a job in Tacoma with barely any room to boom up proved me dead wrong. Anyone else actually trust the app now, or am I the only one who flipped?

My old foreman was the same way about digital leveling on excavators back in like 2016. Swore the bubble stick was all you needed, then we did a foundation gig where the grade was all over the place and the machine guys with the digital setup blew past us. He never admitted it out loud but I caught him watching their screens over coffee lol. Funny how the stuff you fight hardest against ends up being the thing that saves your butt. Bet those younger guys gave you a look when the app worked.
