Serious question, why do so many new operators skip reading the load chart for the actual radius
Watched a guy last Tuesday at a job in Tacoma try to pick a 4,800 lb load at 38 feet of radius on a 60 ton and he was looking at the chart for 25 feet the whole time. A load chart is written for the radius you're actually at, not the one you wish you were at, and that gap is where tipped cranes come from. How do you all train new hands to measure radius before they ever touch the levers?
