Last week's high-wind call has me torn

I was on a job lifting concrete slabs when the wind hit our max safe speed. The site boss pushed me to keep going to avoid delays. I wanted to stop the lift for everyone's safety. He argued that short gusts are normal and the project would lose money. But I've seen close calls when rules get bent. It feels wrong to risk it, but saying no can cause big problems. How do you handle these tough calls?

Ask if his bonus covers hospital visits.

My bonus barely covers my copay for a bandaid.

Yeah, hospital visits... check if your deductible resets first.

Ugh, tell me about it. I had to call my insurance last week just to see what day the stupid deductible flips over. It was January 15th for me, not the first. Saved myself a real headache.
