Heard a rigger say "the load doesn't care about your schedule" at the Fargo site and it's stuck with me
I was on a 3 week job in Fargo last month and one of the older riggers said that to a young guy rushing a pick. It made me think about how I plan my lifts now, especially when the super is pushing me to speed up. I've started building in a 10 minute buffer on every critical pick just to walk the path and check my rigging twice. Does anyone else do this or am I just slowing myself down?
