Crane setup on that rocky lot near the park is driving me CRAZY

My mobile crane sinks every time I try to set up, and the foreman keeps rushing us. Yesterday, the outriggers wouldn't hold, so we had to stop. It's SO dangerous, and I've seen near misses with the load swinging. I just don't want anyone getting hurt.

Try adding more cribbing under the outriggers.

On clay soils after rain, the ground can heave up a lot. This might lift your cribbing and tip the outrigger, even with extra blocks. You should pack down the soil before setting up to avoid that.

Clay can still shift even after packing it down. Sometimes you just have to accept some movement and plan for it.
