Bought a $12 magnetic coffee cup for the cab and it almost cost me a job

Had it stuck to the dash all morning, then hit a rough spot on the site in Dallas and the thing flew off, spilling coffee right on the load chart. Boss saw the whole mess and just shook his head. Anyone have a better way to keep a drink secure up there without making a mess?

Yeah, those magnetic ones are a gamble. I switched to a simple silicone cup holder that suctions to the windshield. It grips the actual cup, so even if you hit a bump it just wobbles a bit. Got mine at a truck stop for like eight bucks. What kind of cab are you driving?

Silicone sounds like a solid fix for the wobble problem. I've had good luck with a weighted base model that sits on the dash. It stays put even on rough back roads.

@oliver_ward14 those weighted dash bases are the only ones that don't slide around for me.
