Boom angle sensor drift on an old Liebherr, night and day after recalibration
Had a 2008 Liebherr LTM 1055 that was showing boom angle off by almost 2 degrees during a pick last month in Tulsa, enough to make the load chart readings sketchy. Spent a whole morning chasing cables and connections before a factory tech said to check the sensor's zero point with a digital level, and after a 20 minute recalibration it was dead on. Anyone else deal with sensor drift that shows up slowly over time, or did yours just fail all at once?

Man, that's a classic one. My buddy had a similar thing on a 30 year old Grove, the angle read fine cold but would drift a half degree after a few hours of running. Turned out it was a bad ground connection that only showed up once everything got hot and vibrated. He chased it for weeks before finding it, so at least your tech pointed you in the right direction that fast.
