Why does nobody talk about the shelf depth at IKEA, my cases hang off the edge
Stopped at the IKEA in Frisco on Saturday to grab a Billy for my game wall and noticed the shelves are only 11 inches deep. My plastic game cases stick out past the front lip, so the door barely shuts and the spines get scuffed. Ended up flipping the shelf so the lip sits at the back, which fixed the hang but now the door leaves a gap at the top. Has anyone shimmed their shelf forward to fix a depth problem like this, or should I just swap the bookcase entirely?
