Velcro ties beat zip ties for controller cables, my buddy proved it
Last weekend a friend came over and redid my whole console drawer setup with those flat velcro strips instead of my usual zip ties. He showed me how you can pull just one controller out without snipping anything or digging through the tangle. Has anyone else made that swap or am I late to the party again?

Your buddy's onto something with the velcro, especially if you've got like six controllers and a headset in the same drawer. The real kicker is you can sort of bundle the cables loose enough that they don't heat up or bend weird, but still keep everything from turning into a knot fest. Once you go velcro, going back to cutting zip ties feels like a hassle you just don't need.
