TIL counting my cords changed my whole setup, and the number was 73
I always figured my closet was just messy, not actually full of stuff. Last Saturday I finally pulled every cord out and lined them up on the floor, and when I got done counting there were 73 of them, more than half for consoles I don't even own anymore. Seeing that number made me admit I was keeping dead weight, so I filled one shoe box with the 38 I truly use and dropped the rest at a recycling bin near my place in Akron. Turns out a closet does not need to look like a snake pit to hold a full setup. How do you all decide which ones are worth keeping when a cord cost you $6 but you swore you would use it again?
