The velcro trick my buddy swore by actually saved my cable drawer
A friend from a gaming meetup in Austin told me to wrap every cable with a small strip of velcro, not the zip ties I was using. Said it would take 20 minutes and stop the tangling mess behind my TV stand. I tried it last weekend and honestly, the drawer under my console looks like a real setup now, not a spaghetti pile. Has anyone else found a weird simple tip that actually works better than the fancy cable boxes?

Stick with the velcro but also grab a cheap label maker for the big power bricks. Those chunky adapters are what actually turn a tidy drawer into a mess because they snag everything else. Wrap the velcro tight around the cable itself, then loop it around the brick so the label faces up. Also sort by device type before you put them back in, like all phone chargers together, all gaming stuff separate. The label thing sounds extra but it saves you 10 minutes of untangling every time you need one specific cord. Bonus tip, keep one drawer just for the stuff you use weekly so it stays clean.

Did you try the weekly drawer trick @the_julia mentioned, it honestly works?
