That shelf system I installed last weekend already sagged in the middle

Ngl I was pretty pumped when I finished mounting that wire shelf kit from the hardware store last Saturday. Two days later I walked in and my entire stack of PS2 and Xbox games was tilted like a ramp. The brackets they gave me were just these little plastic clips instead of proper metal supports. I ended up having to pull everything off and drill in some L-brackets I had lying around from an old desk project. Took me another 3 hours but at least the weight is actually on studs now. Has anyone else had those store brand organizer kits just give out on you like that?

Gotta love those cheap kits, right? I had a similar setup for my books and I swear it bent like a wet noodle overnight. My entire fantasy novel collection was practically doing a trust fall into the wall. Now I've got more L-brackets in my garage than a hardware store, but hey, at least my shelves don't wave hello anymore. The stuff they sell as 'heavy duty' these days is mostly a joke.
