Finally tamed the cord monster behind my TV stand last week
I spent three hours last Sunday untangling and labeling every cable connected to my consoles and soundbar. Used those little velcro straps from the dollar store, 15 of them, and grouped everything by device. Now I can actually swap out my PS5 without pulling out the whole cabinet. Anyone else got a weird routine for keeping their game room wires under control?

Honestly I used to be one of those people who just shoved everything behind the TV and hoped for the best lol. But last year I grabbed some of those velcro straps too and labeled each cable with a little piece of masking tape. Total game changer especially when I had to move my Xbox to a different room and knew exactly which cable was the HDMI and which was the power cord.

...and labeling with masking tape is genius, I just used different colored sharpies on the velcro straps. Kinda wish I thought of that before cause now I gotta guess which purple strap goes where.
