We had a total controller meltdown during a four-player Overcooked 2 night

Last Friday at my place, we were on the final level of the ice world when my friend's old Xbox controller just stopped working. The 'A' button got stuck down, so his chef kept throwing food on the floor. We had to pause, dig out a spare from a drawer, and re-sync it while the in-game timer kept running. We still lost the three-star run, but laughing about the frantic swap was almost better. Anyone have a good fix for sticky buttons, or is it just time for a new one?

Remember my old PS4 controller with the drift. Tried cleaning it with rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab, which sort of worked for a week. Ended up just being a temporary fix before the drift came back worse.

My friend's PS4 controller drift was so minor I barely noticed it. Seems like people make a bigger deal out of it than it is.
