Vent: That one Saturday when the internet went out and nobody had backups
Last month our whole street lost connection around noon on a Saturday, right when my buddies showed up for our weekly co-op session. We sat there staring at each other for 20 minutes before someone dug out an old copy of Mario Kart Wii and we spent the whole afternoon reliving 2008. Anyone else keep a pile of offline games around just in case the web craps out?

Not really. The whole "backup" thing seems like overthinking it. If the internet goes out, that just means it's time to do something else completely. Read a book, work on a project, go outside. Keeping a stash of offline games just for that one random Saturday every six months seems like clutter.

That "read a book" stuff reminds me of my buddy Mark who got so bored he actually tried to teach himself yodeling.
