Tried split screen at a friend's place in Denver and I'm done hosting game night
Went to my buddy's apartment in Denver two weeks ago for game night. He set us up on split screen with two controllers instead of the usual pass and play setup. I got maybe a third of the screen and kept losing track of my character during a boss fight. My other friend who was watching couldn't see anything either and just sat on his phone. Now I'm wondering if I need a second TV just to keep hosting, or if we should all just play online from our own places instead.
Is it bad that my first thought was wondering if your friend in Denver just didn't want to share the couch? I once got stuck with the small half of the screen for a whole night and spent most of it walking into walls while my buddies got the good view. Online play from your own places might be the easy fix here, minus the snack table.
