Shoutout to the guy at GameStop who told me Overcooked is just chaotic fun

I grabbed Overcooked 2 on a whim last weekend for a game night with my brother and his girlfriend. We set it up on my couch and within 10 minutes we were screaming at each other over burning burgers and dropping plates on the floor. It was the most fun we've had in months, but man, that game really tests your patience in a 2-player kitchen. Has anyone else had a couch co-op game that almost ruined a friendship before getting everyone laughing?

Actually used to think couch co-op was dying out or whatever, but Overcooked 2 changed my mind completely. My buddy and I nearly threw a controller at each other trying to get three stars on the ice level, then immediately high-fived when we finally did it.

Man, isn't that how it always goes? Those games that make you want to strangle your buddy one second then hug him the next are the best. Totally get what you mean.
