PSA: The original Mario Kart on SNES only had 8 tracks total

I was reading an old Nintendo Power magazine from 1992 and saw that fact. We've played that game for hours and never realized the whole thing was just those few courses. Does anyone have a favorite track from that first game?

Tracks or not, did you ever notice how the AI racers would rubberband so hard it felt like they were reading your controller inputs?

That's nothing, I played through all of Ocarina of Time before realizing you could move the camera. Just accepted the weird angles as part of the challenge.
