Our game night almost ended when the Switch controller batteries died mid-boss fight
We were at my place in Austin, three of us stuck on the final boss in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, and everything just cut out. We had to scramble to find a charging cable while the game sat paused, which totally killed the vibe. What's your go-to plan for avoiding a dead controller disaster?

My old Kirby amiibo acts as a backup battery pack.

That backup battery idea from grantl94 is actually pretty smart. I mean, I just keep a long USB-C cable plugged into the dock at all times so we can play while charging. It's saved our game night more than once.
