My kids made me put down the controller at a pizza place in 2011
We were at Round Table Pizza after my son's soccer game, and I kept trying to jump back into Castle Crashers on the arcade cabinet they had. The manager came over and said, "Hey man, let the little ones get a turn." That hit me different. I realized my idea of couch co-op was still about my own fun, not about sharing the moment with them. Now I watch their hands on the controller more than the screen, and honestly that's the better game.
