My group tried to play Overcooked with 4 people and it was a total disaster.
Everyone keeps saying it's the best couch co-op game, but they never mention you need a crew that can actually handle the pressure. We played for an hour last Friday and my friend Dan yelled 'I need onions!' so many times we had to quit. The game is fun, but it's not for every friend group, you need people who stay calm. What's a good co-op game for a group that just wants to chill and laugh?

Yeah totally get that. Last time we tried Overcooked my brother literally flipped a chair over the fire alarm going off and I just sat there holding a dirty plate for like five minutes. It was insane. But @nathan_barnes nailed it with Moving Out, that game is a lifesaver. We tried it with the same crew and nobody yelled once, it was all just laughing at each other tripping over couches. There's this level where you have to throw a fridge out a second story window and my friend missed the truck completely, it's impossible to get mad at that kind of stupid. That's the kind of chaos you want when you're just trying to unwind, not a game that makes you feel like you're back at work.

Used to think Overcooked was the perfect game for any group. Had a night just like yours that proved me wrong. For a chill vibe, try something like Moving Out. It's still silly and cooperative, but the chaos feels goofy instead of stressful. You're tossing furniture out of windows instead of screaming for onions. It lets you mess around without that same pressure cooker feeling.

Moving Out is a solid call. That game actually gets played instead of causing a fight over who burned the soup.
