My friend's new apartment in Austin has a huge TV but zero controllers for their Switch
They spent all their money on the screen but forgot you need joy-cons for actual couch co-op. What's the dumbest setup you've seen for trying to play games together?

Absolute classic move right there. My cousin had a similar disaster with a projector setup. He mounted a giant screen on his wall, perfect for parties, but only owned ONE working controller for his Xbox. We had to pass the single controller around like a hot potato during a whole tournament. It completely ruined the vibe and we just ended up watching Netflix instead. The planning was just not there at all.
