My 5-year-old niece just schooled me on how to pick a co-op game

I used to just grab whatever was new, but she sat on my couch and said 'I want the one with the funny hats.' Now I look for silly customization first. Anyone have other games where you can dress up your character in goofy stuff?

It's just a video game, not a life lesson. Prioritizing funny hats over actual gameplay seems like a weird way to pick a game. The whole point is to have fun playing it, not just to look at a silly costume. Maybe the kid just liked the bright colors that day. People read way too much into these small moments.

My nephew picked a whole game based on a purple dinosaur costume once. Kids are weird like that.
