Last Friday our couch co-op night turned into a disaster because of one game
My group of 4 friends gets together every other Friday for couch co-op. Last week we tried to play Overcooked 2 on the PlayStation 4 and within 20 minutes two people were yelling at each other over dropped orders. Has anyone else had a game ruin the vibe of game night like that?

Have you tried the Tilt mode in settings to make it less stressful (seriously saved my game nights)?

Wait you're telling me there's a Tilt mode this whole time? I've been playing this game with my group for about six months and we've had three separate shouting matches over the kitchen layout. The chaos is fun for like ten minutes then someone forgets to wash the dishes and it's all downhill from there. I'm definitely turning that on before our next night. Might make the game feel less like a stress test for our friendships.

Honestly, I read somewhere that Overcooked 2 was literally designed to test friendships, like the developers knew exactly what they were doing. Ngl, it makes sense because that game turns people into monsters over virtual onions. Tbh, I saw this whole breakdown on a gaming podcast where they talked about how the chaos mode is meant to be fun but it just exposes who in the group can't handle pressure. Grace419 is right about Tilt mode, I switched it on after hearing about it on Reddit and it saved our next game night from turning into a full blown argument. The game still gets loud but now it's more laughing at the mess instead of blaming each other for burnt burgers.
