Just realized I wasted $60 on a couch co-op game that's actually single player

I bought 'Solo Quest' last week thinking it was a shared screen adventure for me and my partner. Turns out the 'co-op' is just taking turns with the controller, which is not what we wanted at all. Has anyone else been tricked by a game's description like that?

Actually read through 27 reviews on three sites before buying, @james533. The problem is a lot of those reviews were clearly fake or paid for, which is hard to spot. You have to check the critical two and three star comments to get the real story. I found a pattern of the same issue mentioned by six different people after digging. Makes you not trust any rating system anymore.
