House party in Nashville changed how I pick party games forever

Was at a friend's house in Nashville and they pulled out some weird card game nobody knew, and suddenly 10 people were having the best time without a single argument about rules. Now I look for games that are dead simple to teach in under 2 minutes, has anyone else found a hidden gem like that?

Feel you on that. Simple games hit different when everyone's laughing.

Honestly, what worked for me was just not overthinking the setup. I grabbed some old party games I already had, ones we all knew the rules to, and just let people jump in. Tbh, the best moments came from stupid mistakes or inside jokes that didn't need any fancy mechanics. Ngl, a couple of beers helped too, just loosened everyone up so nobody was trying to be competitive. It's all about the vibe, not the game itself.
