Unpopular opinion: I thought those vintage-style enamelware mugs were just for looks

I mean, I got one as a gift and figured it would chip or stain right away, but I've been using it for my morning coffee for about 6 months now and it's held up perfectly. It just feels nicer to hold than a regular mug, idk. Has anyone else switched to enamelware for their daily stuff?

Bro I'm totally with you. I grabbed one on a whim at a flea market and it's my go-to mug now. They feel solid in your hand and keep coffee hot way longer than my old ceramic ones. Plus you can just bang it around and it doesn't care. I'm slowly replacing all my kitchen stuff with it.

Ceramic mugs are way too fragile for my clumsy hands. I've broken more than a few just washing them. That's why I switched to enamelware for everything.
