Tried to fix a wobbly old wooden chair from the thrift store and it took me three days
I found this cute little chair for $5, but one leg was totally loose. I thought I'd just glue it and be done in an hour, but I had to learn how to make a proper wood wedge and clamp it just right. Has anyone else had a simple repair turn into a whole project?

Oh man, that's the story of my life right there. You go in for a five minute glue job and suddenly you're watching three hour videos on different types of wood joinery. My garage is a graveyard of "quick fixes" that needed a whole new set of tools.
