Tried hanging my tea towels on an old wooden ladder instead of a rack
I leaned a $5 flea market ladder against my kitchen wall last month and now my dishes air dry in this cute rustic way that actually saves counter space, has anyone else repurposed something weird like that for drying?

My grandpa had an old wooden ladder from the 1950s that he used as a plant stand for like 30 years. I remember it had these weird circles carved into the sides that turned out to be from when it was used as a fire escape ladder in a barn. The plants kept getting knocked off whenever someone bumped into it, but he refused to get rid of it because "that ladder's got stories." He finally gave it to my aunt who painted it sunflower yellow and uses it for quilts now.

Man I did the exact same thing last year! Found an old wooden ladder at a yard sale for $8 and now it holds my cast iron pans and tea towels. Looks way better than the ugly plastic rack I had before and actually makes my tiny kitchen feel bigger somehow.
