The $3 cast iron skillet I found at a Barnard, Vermont flea market made me ditch my nonstick for good
I picked up a rusty 10 inch skillet at a flea market in Barnard, Vermont last month for $3. The seller told me to scrub it with salt and oil instead of soap, and after 3 rounds of seasoning it cooks eggs better than anything I've bought new. People baby their nonstick pans way too much, and mine started flaking within a year anyway. What's your go to way to bring an old pan back to life?
