Spent $40 on a copper watering can and it's the best garden buy I ever made

I got a vintage style one at a flea market, not the cheap plastic kind. It's heavier, but the water pours so gently it doesn't wash away my new seeds. My seedlings look way stronger now, and it just feels nice to use. Anyone have other old school tools that actually work better?

Forty dollars seems like a lot for a can to pour water. My plastic one from the hardware store does the same job for five bucks. It's nice to have pretty tools, but the plants don't know the difference.

Right? My five dollar plastic can has lasted like three years now. The fancy metal ones at the garden center always look rusty after one season anyway. It just sits in the shed getting dirty, so who cares what it looks like. As long as it doesn't leak, it's doing its job.
