My grandma's old dish towels changed my whole kitchen vibe
I swapped out my bright store-bought kitchen towels for a set of her faded floral ones last month. They're all thin from years of washing but the colors are so soft and warm now, it makes everything feel like a farmhouse. The best part is they dry dishes way faster than the thick new ones did. Has anyone else found that older linens just work better for that cozy look?

Toss those ragged old rags and buy some proper thick towels that actually absorb water.

My buddy Dave held onto a set of bath towels from college for nearly fifteen years. They were so thin and rough you could practically see through them, and he swore they worked fine. Last Christmas his wife finally threw them all in the trash and bought new ones, and now he won't shut up about how much better his showers feel.
