Hot take: my neighbor Brenda told me my mason jar candles were "a fire hazard" and now I can't unsee it
She said it right over the fence on a Sunday while I was setting jars out on the porch rail to dry. Something about how the wax gets hot and the glass can crack, and she made me feel like a kid getting scolded. I've been making these for 3 years with no issues, but now I'm out here checking every jar before I light it. Anyone else get spooked by a nosy neighbor or am I overthinking it?
